How to make your own brand stamp

I am surprised how easy this it to make!

Massive eraser + pocket knife (careful now!) = brand stamp

Take a massive eraser (this one was 80p) and trace the reverse of your design on it like so so so...

Then carve around your logo - which looks tricky but was surprisingly simple...

Voila!
Amaze!

Our first craft fair

We done'd a craft fair!

HIGH FIVE!
We had rings and bracelets...

We tried to send subliminal messages through scrabble rings...

We sold some things, which was nice and we had some great comments about many items, which is amazing! It is nice to know that you haven't wasted years making things that other people think are rubbish! After having kept most of these items locked away in my flat without anyone else having looked at them, I was a little worried...

Sarah showed off her lovely crocheted owl and penguin toys and keyrings. They are amazing! I particularly love Mr Stringy-Strawberry. He was winking at passers-by throughout the day, but didn't manage to catch anyone's eye. YET...

So...that was our day! Exciting. Scary. Cold. Looking forward to the next one; Friday 21st June. Woop woop!

We Make London - Camden Market

Oh Hi.
How nice of you to stop by.
I am E X C I T E D !
So excited in fact, that I have used both uppercase letters and spaces in that word there. Yep. THAT excited.
I am going to be holding a stall at Camden Market as part of We Make London's special handmade market...!

Yeah!
Good news.
Although I am slightly terrified.
I will be there on:

Friday 17th May
Friday 21st June
Friday 19th July

Get down there! Come say hello! Also, feel free to bring me a cup of tea or any other treats. Bread is nice. Particularly with jam on. Mmm. I'm being totally serious right now. I need stuff.

Still, this means that lots of preparations are underway. Lots of things that I have been talking about doing for years, I am actually going to have to get on with doing. SCARY! This is good though. I am the ultimate procrastinator, so knowing that I only have limited time now will hopefully push me to get things done, instead of just watching Regular Show.
(Although most of the time I find it best to get stuff done whilst watching Regular Show. It just helps, ok?!)

So here are some of the bracelets I have been working on...

I always seem to get to the point where I hate them and don't want to look at them anymore. I have started working on the small gold flowers (seen in the image on the left above) - I am putting buttons onto these and turning them into a necklace (hopefully!). I will post photos once I have managed to do this...IF I manage to do this.

I also need to delve into my big box of half-arsed craft (as I like to call it) - this is full of ideas and things that I half-made before giving up/getting bored/getting over-excited about something else. Although I will probably give up or get bored or get over-excited about something else whilst trying to sort it out, and end up achieving nothing. Clever!

The other Crosko is FINALLY getting to work on her wire figures. These are amazing pieces of art, and she should always be making them for the world to see! Part of me thinks that these are too good to be selling at a market, however I'm hoping that the positive feedback she will inevitably receive will prompt her to make many more for us to sell through Etsy. Photos to follow soon. Exciting!!!!

That is all for now...much work to be done!
